Season Two of Alternative Lifestyle began on August 4, 2017 on the Sugar Pine 7 YouTube channel.
Season two explored more cinematic and dramatic storytelling after the season one conclusion with "Akra.sia".
The season two finale was posted on December 24, 2017. The season was officially concluded with an "after credits scene", "Two best friends go fishing. Again.", with a premiere on Rooster Teeth FIRST on December 27, 2017, and an upload on YouTube on December 28, 2017.
A blooper reel from the season 2 finale was also released a day after the finale on December 25, 2017.
Plot[]
Season Two begins with the boys dealing with Parker's death. But they also have to deal with some other problems. They can't pay the bills. They bring in Elliot Morgan and James Allen McCune to help them out. Remembering that they still haven't buried Parker yet, they secretly bury Parker's body in Jeremy's backyard. After Jeremy finds out, he comes after tby breaking into each of their homes. Wanting to resolve the conflict, Cib suggests that everyone spend a day with each other on the lake. On the lake, Andrew learns about Parker's death for the first time and is devastated. After the day on the lake, the situation seems to have resolved itself with Jeremy and Andrew going their separate ways from the rest of the group.
After taking a trip through the mountains, we find out that Parker has been resurrected, but do not yet know how or why. After Parker is resurrected, Autumn appears to become possessed and is unable to communicate with anyone. It's not until Cib steps into the pentagram in the graveyard that Autumn no longer becomes possessed and the possession is transferred over to Cib. Throughout multiple episodes, Parker travels back home only to be shot in the head by Andrew, which shortly kills Cib. After Andrew shoots Parker, Andrew appears to have been put into a vegetative state. Jeremy appears to know what is happening with Andrew but doesn't give up any information to Parker. Steven, Cib and James break into Parker's house to get answers from Jeremy, they find a resurrected Parker and reconcile and share a hug.
Later on James meets up with James Allen McCune since he wants to quit acting in Sugar Pine 7 and thinks he should move on to bigger things. James Allen McCune gives James his manager's phone number and a key, we then see James and Cib in the office when they suddenly get a call from Steven. He tells them about an absurd plot involving Sami Jo's baby and they then go to meet Steven. Once they arrive they disagree with Steven's plot and Cib tells Steven he doesn't want to be written as an idiot anymore, Steven says that he writes Cib as an idiot because he is one which angers Cib and he gets into a fight with Steven. James and Cib leave and Steven is seen walking alone in Los Angeles, he stops by the infamous suicide bridge and calls Cib and they forgive each other. We next see them in Steven's apartment where they are hosting a Christmas party, a lot of people arrive including Parker, Jeremy, a drunk Andrew, Reina, Brett, Trevor and Asher of Cow Chop. James secretly talks to James Allen McCune about his manager again and Steven holds a speech about friendship, they then continue the party.
